I should have focused on the word "art" in the title. The photography was great. However I was not expecting a book of just photos. I was looking for information on these tractors. This was my mistake. I was disappointed but definitely will keep the book.The seller did a terrific job of very prompt shipping.
That's not a very manly title but this is a very nice peice of work. The Keller's have a wonderful collection and this book showcases it perfectly. Photography is outstanding. I might have picked some different models to feature but that's just a matter of personal taste. It's not just a picture book. It does have breif but concise text to document the various models. This has raised the bar and is the best of the John Deere books on the market. A must have for any John Deere enthusiast.
My father in law really enjoyed this. He didn't expect it and was very excited when he opened it.
I purchased this book, along with this sign as a 'thanks for being you' gift for my stepdad: John Deere 3rd Century of Farm Tractors Implements Retro Vintage Tin Sign. The photography in the book is just beautiful, the color so vivid and rich. Based on what my stepdad said, the book is not comprehensive, but includes select or notable models so don't expect an encyclopedia. Overall, he was pleased with the surprise gift.
My father loves John Deere tractors and this book has some lovely, high quality pictures. Great gift for a tractor/farming enthusiast.
